Product Description

AC HV Rubber testing set is used for Testing Rubber Mats. These sets are generally used in Electrical manufacturing Industry/Power Houses, Electrical Repair etc. where AC High Voltage Insulation Testing is suggest by BIS or IEC. During AC H.V. testing High current is generated due to capacitive loading. AC High Voltage Insulation Testing are designed for continuous use, for testing, and can withstand short circuit. Fault burning can also be provided if desired.

Metering

Protection

A fast acting DC relay will isolate the circuit when the current exceeds pre-set level.

Interlocking

The unit will have zero start interlocking to avoid the transients on HV transformer and provision for cage door interlocking shall also be provided

Control Panel

Consist of :
LT ON Indicator , Push button to actuate HT, HT ON Indicator,Push button to deactuate HT, Fault Indicator (HT OFF Indicator), Push Button Switch to increase / decrease the output voltage, Tripping selector switch with tripping @ 10-15-20-25-30-35-40-50-60-70-80-90-100mA, Timer ON/OFF Switch, Switch for rate of rise @ 0.5kV/sec and 2kV/sec, Timer Digital, Digital KV Meter, Digital mA Meter

Regulating Transformer

Continuously variable transformer which feeds 0-230 V, to the main HV transformer. The voltage is boosted in ratio with transformer design. No wave shape distortion will take place. One terminal of HT transformer is maintained at earth potential through CST terminal, the other Ht terminal is brought out on suitable H.T. Load.
Protection: The protective circuit incorporated in this unit consist of the following :
A) Zero Start Interlocking
B) Over current relay with current selection
C) Cage door at top side
This prevents accidental start of unit after break down.

9(c)

HV Transformer

The Main step up transformer is housed inside the body supported with welded angle iron frame and the output has been brought out through H.T. Terminal.
